The Brief

Equine Tendon needed a scalable mobile and web solution to automate the leasing and monitoring of its Tendon Pro DSS Boot. The app would manage clinical intake, customer onboarding, rehab tracking, and leasing operations—delivering a fully integrated experience for their veterinarians, clients, and staff.

Objective

To build a cross-platform mobile application and web portal for streamlining lead management, device leasing, and rehab scheduling while allowing clinical stakeholders to monitor horse recovery—all securely integrated with cloud services, payments, and analytics.

Requirements & Analysis

We collaborated with Tendon Pro to define multi-role user journeys, clinical input flows, and automation requirements across mobile and web platforms.

Resource Planning

Defined clear team roles across mobile, backend, and UI/UX tracks. Cloud hosting and Make.com-based automation minimised the need for additional DevOps resources.

Frontend & Backend Development

Developed in Flutter with native look/feel for both platforms. Backend APIs handled user roles, rehab schedule logic, and secure data transfer.

Testing

Rigorous testing of role-based permissions, payment workflows, and rehab scheduling logic. Privacy controls and clinical data isolation were validated.

Deployment

Deployed to Play Store and App Store. Backend and admin panel hosted on GCP with fixed-tier monitoring to ensure scalability.

Maintenance & Updates

Ongoing updates include rehab protocol customisation, client feedback-based improvements, and seamless integration with accounting and communication tools.

Project Structure

Tier 1 – User App (Flutter)

The client-facing app supports onboarding, horse registration, device leasing, rehab tracking, in-app scheduling, document access, and clinical image uploads. Designed for ease of use across clients, veterinarians, and field agents.

Tier 2 – Admin Web Portal

Staff use a web console to manage leads, approve rehab schedules, assign devices, track compliance, and monitor customer communication. Multi-role access controls ensure sensitive data visibility is well-managed.

Tier 3 – Backend/API Layer

REST APIs manage user authentication, clinical data, scheduling logic, and communication features. All payment, scheduling, and usage tracking is fully automated through API-based integrations.
