One connected ecosystem for equine care

Equine care rarely happens in one place. Owners, riders, veterinary teams, rehabilitation providers and yard staff all need access to the right information, but their responsibilities and workflows are different. Apeiron needed a product ecosystem that could support those distinct roles while keeping each horse at the centre of the experience.

Keylumi designed and developed My Apeiron Hub as two connected products: a professional web command centre for organisations and a companion mobile experience for owners, riders and care providers. Both surfaces work with the same platform services, permissions and horse records, creating a consistent flow of information between the people involved in a horse’s care.

The web command centre

The web platform gives clinics, rehabilitation centres, yards and training organisations a structured workspace for running day-to-day operations. Teams can manage clients and horses, coordinate calendars, store documents and maintain a clear view of the information shared with them.

Personal and professional workspaces are kept distinct, so users can move between their own horses and an organisation’s records without confusing ownership or access. Granular permissions also allow horse information to be shared module by module, giving owners and professionals control over what collaborators can view or update.

Core web capabilities include:

  • Organisation, team and client management
  • Shared horse profiles with role-aware permissions
  • Calendars, tasks and appointment coordination
  • Documents, records and professional directory tools
  • Subscription and billing workflows
  • Notifications across important care activity

Companion mobile apps

The MyApeiron mobile experience brings the most important horse and care workflows into an iOS and Android app. Owners and riders can manage everyday information, while connected providers can work with horses shared into their professional care.

Horse profiles bring together notes, bookings, tasks, feed, medication, medical history, documents and media. An offline-first synchronisation layer helps the app remain useful when connectivity is unreliable, then safely reconciles changes when a connection returns.

Push notifications keep users informed about relevant activity, and Connect sharing flows make it possible to request, approve and manage access without resorting to disconnected messages or duplicated records.

A shared platform architecture

The web platform is built with Laravel, Inertia.js and Vue 3, supported by PostgreSQL through Supabase. The companion apps use React Native and Expo, allowing a shared mobile product to serve both iOS and Android while retaining platform-specific delivery where it matters.

A common API and authentication layer connects the products. Role-aware permissions protect organisation, personal and shared-horse contexts, while Stripe supports subscription workflows and OneSignal powers cross-platform notifications.

This architecture gives Apeiron a maintainable base for expanding modules and care journeys without separating the mobile and web products into isolated systems.

The outcome

My Apeiron Hub turns a complex network of people, records and responsibilities into one coherent product ecosystem. Professional teams gain a capable operational workspace, while owners and providers have a focused mobile companion for activity around the horse.

The result is a connected foundation for equine care where information can move with the horse, access remains controlled, and each user sees an experience shaped around their role.
